Rural development can be a strong contributing factor to strengthening the social, environmental, and economic sustainability of rural areas.
Following the elaboration of a comprehensive course curriculum and the subsequent development of an eLearning course, the project partners are currently delivering the pilot seminars with numerous entrepreneurs of the tourist sector around Europe.

In the spring 2023 the Escape2 partners are organizing a series of informative events around Europe, with the aim to present the proper ways to implement a high quality strategy for rural tourism and the respective eLearning course. Based on this, the partnership will gain insights on what participants feel about the contents, as well as resources, barriers, and possible solutions.

Leitrim is home to Ireland’s most rugged landscapes and dramatic formations where mountains, valleys, and lakes meet. Leitrim has countless beautiful mountain lakes dotted across its landscapes reaching into Ireland’s Hidden Heartland’s and The Wild Atlantic Way. Many of this unspoiled stunning scenery can be enjoyed from the roadside while others are more hidden.
