RISING

A Mentoring Project to Raise Motivated Migrants

"True mentors have this unique ability to pick up vibes that everyone else misses from within you.”

 Ahmad R Kazi

Dear members of the network,

We are delighted to send you the fourth newsletter of the RISING project. As the project has entered its last six months, the partners are putting in the effort and work to develop the final results of this wonderful initiative.

Our latest milestones and achievements
In July, EaSI, our partner from Romania, hosted a blended mobility week in Bucharest. Its aim was to promote the mentees' motivation and self-esteem, offering an opportunity to travel abroad and meet different people.
To help mentors and mentees in their mentoring relationship, the partnership has put together and designed a series of interactive tools. Ultimately, these tools will be a valuable resource for mentees to help them better understand the mentoring relationship and to become continuously involved in the process.
Last, but not least, we have conducted the matching process between mentors and mentees and have now begun the mentoring sessions in all partner countries. In parallel, we are preparing the Rising toolkit for mentoring which, completed with inputs from our current mentors, will serve as a guide to those who will conduct future mentoring sessions with migrants. The toolkit will also recommend  instruments that can be used in the mentoring process.

Stay updated!
